Egmont Publishing and Macmillan Distribution (MDL) announce that with effect from 1st April 2015, distribution for Egmont Publishing’s books will move to MDL
Book Orders and Returns
Orders
Orders will be fulfilled by HarperCollins up to and including Tuesday 31st March. From Wednesday 1st April orders will be fulfilled by Macmillan Distribution (MDL). Any unfulfilled backorders and Tele-orders will be automatically transferred to Macmillan Distribution (MDL).
Returns
Requests to authorise returns should continue to come to Egmont until 10th July 2015.
Egmont will authorise conforming returns requests up to and including Tuesday 31st March to be sent to HarperCollins and this will be clear in the authorisation paperwork. Only those returns that have been pre-authorised and which are received within the returns window, and specifically before 30th June, will be credited.
Egmont will authorise conforming returns requests from Wednesday 1st April to be sent to MDL and this will be clear in the authorisation paperwork. Only those returns that have been pre-authorised and which are received within the returns window will be credited.
From 10th July 2015 Egmont will switch to IRI through Macmillan Distribution (MDL).
Payments
Payments should be made to the originating and invoicing distributor.
