Egmont Heritage

A great read is forever. From The Box of Delights to The Little Prince, some of the most famous titles in European literature are now published in the new Egmont Heritage list. Published in beautifully bound, high-quality editions, the Egmont Heritage range will build into a library of some of the most highly-acclaimed children’s books of all time.

Many of the titles are available only from Egmont in the UK, and are the only editions to feature original artwork, including EH Shepard’s much-loved illustrations for The Wind in the Willows and William Nicholson’s beautiful artwork for The Velveteen Rabbit.

Electric Monkey

Launched in 2012, Electric Monkey is the brand new YA imprint from Egmont. Authors on the list may be established best –sellers such as Michael Grant (writer of the GONE series) or exciting first-time writers like Em Bailey and Siobhan Curham – what they have in common is that each has a unique voice and something new or different to say. Electric Monkey represents top quality-fiction that is guaranteed to be high-voltage reading.

Where did the name come from? First and foremost we wanted a name that would be instantly attention-grabbing – to stand out from the crowd. We wanted to be surprising – to have a name that wasn’t automatically assumed to be any one genre or particular book. The selection of books is deliberately broad in both age-range and appeal: from ground-breaking futuristic thrillers and WWII dramas to against-the-odds love stories and psychological thrillers.

Best-selling, award-winning, laughter inducing, tear producing…the Electric Monkey imprint has something for everyone.
